My Story
Upon graduating from the University of Maryland - College Park, I launched into my career by joining Amazon's operation finance rotational program (OFRP). In this training program, I gained invaluable experience in three fulfillment centers across the US, assuming the role of controller for several billion dollar cost centers. Upon graduating from the OFRP, I held several finance & product management positions at Amazon. With a knack for design and cutting edge tech, I'm always interested in expanding my horizon and sharpening new skillsets. I'm always interested in a side-hustle. As the world hunkered down for COVID, I became enamored with the possibilities of web3 by delving into the world of Decentralized Finance (DeFi). A year later, I took this passion a step further by joining a blockchain ticketing company, called YellowHeart. I'm the product lead at YellowHeart, a concert/conference ticketing protocol being built on Ethereum compatible blockchains. Think TicketMaster or StubHub, but with more transparency and interoperability, thanks to web3.
Writing an "About Me" page is somewhat of a cringe-worthy task for me...I'll take listening to ones' life story over self-aggrandizing 9 times out of 10. Outside of work, you'll typically find me listening to a podcast, staying active outside, or falling down a rabbit hole of tech YouTube videos. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes, one that encapsulates my passion for technology

I read a study that measured the efficiency of locomotion for various species on the planet. The condor used the least energy to move a kilometer. And, humans came in with a rather unimpressive showing, about a third of the way down the list. It was not too proud a showing for the crown of creation. So, that didn’t look so good. But, then somebody at Scientific American had the insight to test the efficiency of locomotion for a man on a bicycle. And, a man on a bicycle, a human on a bicycle, blew the condor away, completely off the top of the charts. And that’s what a computer is to me. What a computer is to me is it’s the most remarkable tool that we’ve ever come up with, and it’s the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds.” - Steve Jobs
